Consent before access
Sensitive data is not shared, saved for a new purpose or handed to a partner without a clear request and recorded permission.
Afiyah treats data as Amanah and governance as product infrastructure. These commitments describe the intended operating standard; they do not claim that every future control or certification is already complete.

Collect only what a defined feature needs. Separate private case data from marketing, analytics and AI evaluation.
AI may assist with screening, retrieval or drafting. Authorised people remain responsible for verification and consequential decisions.
Basic learning, goals and early access do not require an ID. Verification is reserved for selected high-trust experiences after the relevant controls are ready.
Afiyah supports education and preparation. Fatwas, medical diagnosis, legal conclusions and regulated financial advice belong with qualified professionals.
Policies, content, AI behaviours, partner claims and release decisions require owners, versions, review evidence and escalation paths.
Three connected governance layers
No logo, AI output or partner name is treated as automatic approval. Every high-impact claim and feature remains versioned, reviewable and feature-gated.
Shariah-sensitive products, content and partner concepts move through evidence review and a human decision: approve, approve with conditions, reject or escalate.
A proposed source-grounded Islamic-finance and Fiqh Muamalat knowledge layer. Outputs require citations, defined use cases, human escalation and qualified scholar review.
A structured assessment layer for benefit, harm, justice, dignity and inclusion. It supports accountable decisions; it is not an autonomous fatwa or compliance certificate.

Feature-gated verification policy
Identity documents are not required to join this waitlist or receive general updates. If a future Sisters Portal feature genuinely needs identity assurance, that request must be limited to the specific high-trust experience and explained before collection.
Before any production verification feature is enabled, Afiyah requires legal review, provider due diligence, a data-protection impact assessment, private storage, audited reviewer access, deletion rules, incident response and end-to-end testing. Verification cannot silently become a universal registration gate.
DIFC compliance policy
Afiyah’s launch role is technology, education, software, analytics and planning. It does not provide regulated financial services, hold or manage client funds, or offer investment advice. Regulated services, where applicable, are delivered by appropriately licensed partner institutions after reviewed, consent-led hand-off.
Registration consent records acknowledgement of this boundary; it is not consent to receive a regulated financial service.
